ISS Conference 2022
Attak Performance facilitated a targeted session at the ISS annual Government, Healthcare and Infrastructure Senior Leadership conference. The brief was to engage with the senior leaders to improve their awareness of waste that may exist in their business and provide unique targeted industry insights.

Working with a speciality biopharma company with clinical testing capabilities with human-based analytical platform to accelerate drug discovery and
development in respiratory and infectious diseases. hVIVO were concerned with the level of ‘drop offs’ through each phase a volunteer will experience from advertisement to actually turning up for quarantine, thus a full rapid Improvement Event was required to understand the reasons and identify quick win
improvement opportunities.

Midlands & Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit (MLCSU) is part of the NHS, supporting systems with the delivery of at scale transactional services and transformational change. This includes end to end support to health and social care systems across fifty clinical commissioning groups with a healthcare spend of £13.5 billion across a wide geography. In December 2017 MLCSU Improvement Unit engaged ATTAK Performance to facilitate sessions to deliver a cohesive business strategy and a standard Business Improvement approach incorporating previous delivery, best practice and learning gained from this multi skilled capable team.

St Andrews Healthcare is a leading mental healthcare Charity which has more than 900 patients, including some of the most complex and challenging mental health needs in the UK, required support to create and implement a Workforce Planning strategy aligned to improving patient outcomes. This was an important initiative for the charity to ensure best value for money delivery on improved patient outcomes through the charities biggest asset – its 4000+ staff. This was also an outstanding action from a previous CQC inspection to have evidence-based planning for ward staff which should include clinical judgement and robust benchmarking to ensure staffing levels are safe and robust, especially to improve patient outcomes.
